He was predeceased by: his brother Walter J. Engel Jr. We. He is survived by: his wife Margritt A. Engel; his sisters, Darlene Schaperkoetter and Sharon Jung (Charlie) of Mascoutah; and his nieces and nephews, Melanie Wilhelm, Debbie Alasatra (George), Tiffany Taylor (Wes), Walter Engel and Josh Jung (Courtney). He is also survived by three grandnieces; and two grandnephews.
