With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barnard Jacob (Anchorage, Alaska), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on October 21, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake and Anna; and his sister Molly Oyer. He is survived by: his siblings, Miriam "Molly", Grocery, Larry and B. J. Carr; his children, Sandy Gottstein, Michelle Katz (Roni), Jim Gottstein (Nancy Rubenstein), Ruth Anne Faust (Halley), Miriam Garson, Robert Gottstein and David Gottstein; his grandchildren, Aaron Faust (Rachel Alpert), Josh Faust, Mindy Katz Pariente (Roee), Issac "Yitzi" Katz, Jacob Mintz, Joseph Mintz (Sophie), Sarah Gottstein (Rich Peterson), Jeff Gottstein, Sam Gottstein, Ellie Gottstein, Hannah Gottstein, Rebecca Gottstein and Meira Garson; and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Maya, Evan, Adam Faust, Theo Mintz, Jordan Katz and Alon Katz.
