Cecil Hope Whitehurst Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecil Hope Whitehurst (Anchorage, Alaska), who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Bernice Whitehurst (Lawn); and his sister Annie Mae Nielsen. He is survived by: his children, Mark Whitehurst (Barbara), Karen Lynn Maher (Douglas), Kirk Whitehurst and Toni Adamson (Ray); his grandchildren, Todd Whitehurst, Joshua Zimmerman, Troy Whitehurst, Becky Traini and Jomae Adamson; and his niece Christy Doherty. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Due to Covid-19, a memorial will be held this summer.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Anchorage Museum are requested.
