He is survived by: his sister Grace Marquiss of Anchorage; his children, Sally Sandoval (Bob), Virginia Adams (Ron), Daniel Smith, Jr. (Cynthia) and Oliver Smith; and his grandchildren, Eric, Lisa, Brenda, Robert, Pete, Amanda, Rebecca, Roland Jr., Brian and Oliver.
