He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail R. Byrd and Irma L. Byrd; and his siblings, Gary Byrd and Loretta Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Sue Byrd (Shizue); and his sisters, Marilyn Brannan (Jack) of Columbia and Carole Swenson (Ron) of Overland Park, Kan.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
