He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul Bouwhuis and Jessie Van Orden; and his granddaughter Taylor Jade Arave. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Katherine Mason; his children, Cherylann Brown (Jeff) of Kaysville, Paul Bouwhuis (Cindy) of South Jordan, Norman Bouwhuis (Katie) of Bentonville, DelVon Bouwhuis (Alicia) of Cedar Hills, Chris Bouwhuis (Lynnae) of Layton, Katherine Arave (Mike) of Clearfield, Myron Bouwhuis (Rachel) of Westpoint, Lorelle Hall (Scott) of Kaysville, Kim Hurd (Mark) of Clinton, Rob Bouwhuis (Korrine) of Midway and Amber Abel (Adam) of American Fork; and his siblings, Steven Bouwhuis (Shirley) of Hurricane, Jon Bouwhuis (LeNore) of Bountiful and Karen Cardon (Kent) of Amalga. He is also survived by 71 grandchildren, and 8 ½ great-grandchildren.
