She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cordes and Janet Cordes; and her siblings, James Cordes and Barbara Gill. She is survived by: her son Van; her husband Larry Gill; her sons, Chris Gill (Lisa Venner Gill), Tim Gill, Jon (Desiree Gill) and Matt (Sara Gill); her grandchildren, Alex, Sydney, Taylor, Delaney, Anne and Oscar; her sister-in-law Christine Gill of Anchorage; her brother Richard; and her sister-in-law Stefanie Cordes of Little Neck, N. Y..
