He was predeceased by: his parents, George Karabelnikoff and Sigrid Karabelnikoff; and his sister-in-law Sally Karabelnikoff. He is survived by: his close friend Carole Follis; his child Robert of David, Katherine; his brothers, Lee and Ken; and his siblings' child Roberta.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at the Lidia Selkregg Chalet at Russian Jack Springs Park, 1600 Lidia Selkregg Lane off Debarr Rd. In lieu of flowers consider donating to: Alaska Blood Bank, Alaska Public Media, The CIRI Foundation, on behalf of Don Karabelnikoff.
