He is survived by: his wife Berta Lou; his children, Drew, Leslie and Dana (Arne Handeland); his grandchildren, Jonah Van Gieson, Donald Kai, Erik Handeland and Diana Handeland; his sister Jeanne Shipman; his sister-in-law Barbara Lee Coady; and his sibling's children, Layne Coady, Lee Shipman (Ruth), Scott Shipman (Chris) and Diana Coomer (Deedee).
