She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Albert I Moser and Beatrice G Moser; her husband Richard L Shoemaker; her daughter Kathleen; her granddaughter Stephanie Santo; her daughter Jennifer Schauer (David); and her grandchildren, Jodi Purcell, Kevin Purcell (Corrine), Michael Purcell (Kemala), Kirsten McCart (Jason) and Michael Schauer (Danyelle). She was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Mary's Church or Denali Family Services in Anchorage, Alaska.
