She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Swanson and Donna Swanson; her brother Gary Swanson; and her grandparents, Eldo, Dorothy Richardson, Ray and Thelma Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband Phill Adams; her pet Akea; and also, Sandra Swanson, Natasha Schachle and Melissa Seime.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to The Alaska SPCA and/or Animal Rescue.
