He was predeceased by: his brother Joshua Smith; his grandparents, Bud and Betty Smith; and his uncle Randall Smith. He is survived by: his mother Jeanneane Preus; his stepfather John Preus; his father Gregory Smith; his stepmother Linda; his sister Adison Spafford; his son Joshua Smith; and his nephews, Marley and Jasper Spafford (Hendrix). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
