He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarman Holloway and Jessie Holloway; and his siblings, Celia James, Loretta Strickland, LaPriel Lyles, Metha Crawford, Calvin Holloway and Edwin "Babe" Holloway.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Faye Burton of Sale Creek, TN; his daughters, Jan Gerdes (Lee) and Michele Collins; and his grandchildren, Alex Gerdes, Christian and Ansley Collins. He is also survived by several loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
