It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edson Lyberger (Anchorage, Alaska), who passed away on August 27, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Edson Lyberger to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his son Harvie Lyberger; his wife Carrol Lyberger; his children, John David Lyberger (Onjan), Deena Miller (Jim Miller) and Sandra Youtsey (Paul Youtsey); and his stepsons, Woody Hester (Wendy Hester) and Chris Hester (Ashley Hester). He is also survived by 10 grandkids, and 11 great grandkids.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Providence Hospice in Anchorage.

“He will be missed by many and condolences to the family. He enjoyed our cafe and we went to purchase our first family vehicle. We told his staff we’d make a decision over night and return the next day. John was like, nah! I know you drive it home and let me know if you want to buy it. We still own that suburban and so far it’s survived 2 children learning to drive. Miss seeing his smile and conversation with a cup of coffee and pie”
