He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wilson and Ethel Howkins Wilson; his former wife Frances Wilson; and his sisters, Jean and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Farley Wilson of Poyen; and his children, Louis (Vera Pohle) of Munich, Germany, Fred (Mindy Fowler) of White Hall, Kathleen (Phil Yonkoske) of Kingman, Dawn Wagner of Anchorage, Frances (David Nelson) of Sheridan and Katie (Kirk Crenshaw) of Poyen. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
