He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Smith. He is survived by: his child Anchorage West; his wife Shannon; his children, Emilee, Sean and Ian; his mother Heather; and his brothers, Dan (Brenda) and Bryan (Jennifer). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews, and many friends.
