He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Howard Jones and Mildred Beatrice Brooks Jones (Brooks); and his siblings, Gloria Jean Banks, Laverne Bell and Ernest Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jones; his children, Michelle Frances Jones, Michael Dion Jones and Corey André Jones of Charlotte, NC; and his stepchildren, Mchawi Herrington, Hasaan Herrington (Mekesha) and Ayeesha Hankins (Gregory) of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, and a host of devoted grandchildren with one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
