It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Bearden (Anchorage, Alaska), who passed away on August 2, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Hawkins and Ethel M. Hawkins; her sister Millie Warren; her son Steven Bearden (Earl); and her grandson Brian Sexton.

She is survived by: her sister Violet Davis; her children, Debra Bearden (Chris Willhoite) and Richard Bearden (Christine Bearden); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Holsclaw, Shawn Sexton, Casey Sexton, Sarah Paulus, Pamela Lyons, Christy Belsky, David Bearden, Nichole Bearden and Blake Bearden.
