She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Dawson and Mary Dawson; and her former husband Henry E. McKnuckles. She is survived by: her siblings, Essie Freeman, Almeta Barnhart, Lauretha Holly, Laura Lewis, Hattie Owusu (Lawrence) of Brooklyn, NY, Sally Pittman, Nellie Pridgen, Cora Lee, Robert Dawson and A. B. Dawson; and her daughter Sabrina A. McKnuckles. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
