He is survived by: his wife Blanca Legorreta; his children, Jennifer, Rafael and Justin Vela; his mother Angie Legorreta; and his siblings, Angie, Eduardo, Claudia, Marcela and Eric. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and one grandson.
