He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Michael; his wife Ruth Jean Shaw; his son Douglas B. Shaw; his daughter-in-law Leonor Tomero; his grandsons, Remy and Hugo Shaw of Bethesda; and his sisters, Donna Seale of San Angelo and Cheryl Grimmet of Gilmer.
