He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stanley and Alma Lilly; his siblings, William Lilly and Jane Allman; and his grandson Robert Walter Lilly.
He is survived by: his wife Cara Lue Lilly; his children, Barbara L. Brown (Paul Kahahua), John Ellis Lilly and David Edward Lilly (Linda Sue); and his grandchildren, David Bradley Lilly and Flora Jewel Lilly. He is also survived by numerous cousins, friends.
