He was predeceased by: his sister Jerri Larson. He is survived by: his parents, Elaine Hoyem and Randel Hoyem; his wife KimMarie; his children, Jason Hoyem (Sarah), Rachael Hoyem and Leon Fyfe (Trisha); his grandchildren, Myriah, Noah, James, Bennett, Jameson and Caroline; his brother Dennis Hoyem (Cathy); and his siblings-in-law, Tom Larson, Marla Brown (Dan) and Tonya Piaskowski. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully ask that donations be made in memory of Ron to the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank, 33955 Community College Dr., Soldotna, AK 99669, ph# 907-262-3111.
