He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Cardinal and Lucille Cardinal (Giuffre); and his siblings, Phyllis Fazio (Cardinal) and Edward A. Cardinal. He is survived by: his sister Marguerite "Mara" Cardinal-Rohde; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Rohde and Art Fazio. He is also survived by five nephews; three nieces; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews.
