He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet R. Piper and Mary A. Piper; his son Patrick M. Piper; and his siblings, Emmet Jr., John Piper, Mary K. Kennedy, Caroline R. Reagan and Audrey DeBolt.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Lou; his children, Donna M. Piper, Angela I. Koppenberg (Aaron), Kevin A. Piper (Heather), Shalese M. Santiago and Thomas W. Piper Jr.; and his sister Vera J. Halfhill (Howard). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
