It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Ulrich of Anchorage, Alaska, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ulrich and Marie Ulrich; his siblings, Alton, Dorothy, Melvin, Elaine, Stan, Wayne and Carl; and his niece Kathy Vernette Ulrich.
He is survived by: his former wife Jeanette L. Omberg; his wife Susan of Riggins; his children, Verlyn Ulrich of Wasilla, Alaska, Cheryl Gottenborg (Bill) of Hawley and LouAnn Olsen (Tim) of Lake Park, Minn.; his adoptive son Josh Ulrich of Portland, Ore.; his stepsons, Justin Clay (Jennifer) of Riggins and Jason Clay (Amie) of McCall; his grandchildren, Breanne Marshall (Cody), Andrew Gottenborg (Jessica), Kaitlynn Borgstahl (Brandon), Sophi, Halle Clay, Tabitha Bergman (Tim) and Tyler Olsen; his great grandchildren, Jovie, Sienna, Henley, Otto, Ike, Willow, Crew, Kendra, Logan and Mati; and his siblings, Yvonne Seaberg (Dave), Verona Poolman (late Kenneth), Naomi Elton (Curtis) and Iris Johnson (Marvin). He is also survived by 11 siblings.
