He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Sherwood; his daughter Gayle Berube; and his sisters, Ethel and Phyllis. He is survived by: his sons, Wally and Walter Sherwood; his daughter-in-law Kristin; his grandson Wally; his son-in-law Edward Berube; his grandsons, Branden and Tanner; his sister Becky Meenihan; his sibling's child That Damn Sweet Puddy; and also Milo.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the St. Anthony Catholic Church "General Fund" or "Scholarship Fund." One of four children, Walt was born in Farrell, Pa.
