He is survived by: his daughter Mariah Mattoon (Seth Benson) of Oakland; his granddaughter Victoria of Oakland; his siblings, Sterling Mattoon of Chico, Lois Neely of Los Molinos and Carol Boggs; and his significant other Sun Shumaker of Anchorage.
