She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Awckland and Pearl Awckland; her brother Kenneth Awckland; and her husband Richard Gibbs. She is survived by: her son Ken Gibbs (Janet) of Olympia Fields; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Selah of Bedford, Esther Ellis (Isaac) of Columbia, Joel Gibbs (Nicole) of Burnaby, Joanna Gibbs of Kelowna and British Columbia; her sons, Don Gibbs (Susan) of Wasilla and Dave Gibbs (Kristin) of Elizabethtown; and also, Rebekah Hunter (Kameron), Kayin, Jadyn, Kaitlin, Sarah, Caleb and Luke Gibbs.
