With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elder Robert C. Kinnard Jr. (Fairbanks, Alaska), born in Independence, Kansas, who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Lee Nevins and Robert Kinnard Sr.; and his daughter Elizabeth Kinnard. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Kinnard; his sons, Dewayne Kinnard, Justin Kinnard and Robert Kinnard III; his grandchildren, Demetrius Kinnard, Demarcus Kinnard and Andrea Kinnard; his siblings, Debra Ann Blackburn (Willie) and Bernard Kinnard (Ingrid); his aunts, Gladys Brown (Aaron), Lydia Flory and Dorothy Wingfield; and his friend Jackie Dean. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. John Baptist Church (802 17th Ave, Fairbanks, AK 99701). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
