It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon E. Gerrish (Fairbanks, Alaska), born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on December 18, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Reginald Gerrish and Henrietta Gerrish; and his siblings, Harold Gerrish, Robert Gerrish, Rita Black and Ellen Richardson.
He is survived by : his wife Charlene; his brother Linwood Gerrish (Judy) of Bar Mills, Maine; his children, James Provencher (Jill) of Meddybemps, Maine, Kimberly Hubbard (William) of Altus, Oklahoma and Missy Lane of Saco, Maine; and his close friend Guy Linscott of South Portland. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren (James, Marie, Nick, Hillary Tyler, Heather, Jennifer, David, John, Alex, Jared, Victoria, and Connor); eight great grandchildren, with one more on the way; and countless nieces and nephews.
