He was predeceased by : his parents, Chancy W. Thomas and Pauline Hendricks Thomas; his siblings, Martel, Quinton, Frell, Yeteve, Enid and Belva; and his grandson Cole Blackburn.

He is survived by : his spouse NaThel Phillips; and his children, Ronald Thomas (June) of Bountiful, UT, Kirk Thomas (Pam) of Ketchikan, AK, Dalene Thomas of Sterling, Dale Thomas (Yvette) of Roosevelt, UT and Barbara Johnson (Brett) of St. George, UT. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 100 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
