She was predeceased by : her parents, Phyllis Wardle and Clyde Dewey Higley; her brothers, Lorin Higley and Tracey Higley; her daughter Melody Lynn Keele Mattingly (Thomas); and her granddaughter Kandice Marie Mattingly.

She is survived by : her husband Earl Jay Keele; her brother Geoffrey "Kip" Higley (Kay) of Roseburg, Oregon; and her children, Shawna Kay Keele Schnurr (Rick), Leslie Ann Keele Pascual (Alfonso), Annette Clydene Keele Farnsworth and Anthony Clay Keele (Laura). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
