He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shane and Martha Shane; and his siblings, Serafima Shane, Katherine Dunton, Erena Haynes and Walter Shane.
He is survived by: his siblings, William Shane Jr., Frank Shane, Nikander Shane, Mike Shane, Benjamin Shane, David Shane, Mabel Kochutin, Diane Krukoff, Dorothy Andrews and Anna Lestenkof. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
