She was predeceased by : her parents, Florence Merriman and Robert Merriman; her stepfather John L. Verschueren; and her brother Thomas W. Verschueren. She is survived by : her sister Cheryl Verschueren of Seward; her children, Elizabeth Johnson of Seward and Mikael Kinney (Johanna) of Seward; her grandsons, Jack and Charlie of Seward; and her siblings, Robert Merriman, Jr. of Tacoma, WA and Robin Kinney of Ketchikan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
