It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abel Reese Cook (Soldotna, Alaska), who passed away on February 17, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Andrew Cook; his great-grandparents, Petra Lock and Luis Lugo; and his great-great-grandparents, Aurora Brizar, Elosia Maestas, Roberto Brizar and Alex C. Maestas.

He is survived by : his mother Tiffanyann Vanloan of Kenai, AK; his siblings, Alexus Vanloan of Kenai, AK and Thor of Alaska; his grandparents, Eugene and Pearl Maestas of Kenai, AK; his uncle Eugene J. Maestas of Kenai, AK; and his great-grandparent Norma Maestas of Arvada, CO. He is also survived by several great uncles, aunts, and cousins.
