She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Johnston and Maude Johnston; her husband Jim; her daughter Sandra; her granddaughter Melissa; and her siblings, Don and Dorthy.
She is survived by : her children, Mike Merrill of Kennewick, Patty McMillen (Bob) of Lewiston, Doug Merrill (Vicki) of Federal Way and Kathy Merrill of Federal Way; her brother Herold (Loretta) of Lewiston; her son-in-law Ray McElroy (Lynn) of Benton City; her grandchildren, Karin, Kim, Joann, Cheri, Mindy, Jim, Tammy, Chad, Megan and Joseph; and her close friend Tucker. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
