With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Louise Yancy (Adamsville, Alabama), who passed away on April 27, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Mason and Alma Harless Mason; and her husband Paul L. Yancy. She is survived by: her children, Nancy W. Wood (Robin) and Dr. James L. Wideman (Julie); her granddaughters, Lauryn A. Smith (Brad), Yancy W. Richmond (Cory) and Whitney W. Legrand (Nigel) of Murfreesboro, TN; her great grandchildren, Mason Bradley Smith of Wetumpka, AL, Sparrow Rocket Richmond and Addison Grace Smith of Wetumpka, AL; her cousin Joe Rogers Johnson (Diana); and her friend Carole Cooper Wald (Roger).

Due to Covid19, ten of us will gather on Thursday for a family service to celebrate her life!
