She was predeceased by: her husband Sidney W. Mathews; her sons, James Richard and David W. Mathews; her parents, George Snyder and Vivian Snyder; and her siblings, Jewel and James B. Snider.

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Runge Fadlevich, Bunni Runge Miller and Donna Mathews Jennings (Robert); her stepchildren, Judy Mathews and Renea Mathews Phillips (Kem); her son-in-law Rick Miller; her grandchildren, Justin Fadlevich, Mark Fadlevich, Erica Miller Watson (Drew), Mitchell Jennings, Sidney Kate Jennings, Bryan Phillips (Stephanie) and Nick Phillips (Kelsey); her great grandchildren, Austin Fadlevich, Harrison Phillips and Tayla Phillips; her niece Jennifer Snider Leathers (Raymond); and her nephew Brian Snider (Mimi). She is also survived by in-laws, great nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Due to Covid-19 regulations, a family only graveside service will be held on May 20, 2020 at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Adamsville, Alabama with the Rev. Tom Salter officiating.
