He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend Preston and Vernie Acker; his wife Judy Harmon Acker; his daughter Melody Kortbein (Todd); his grandchildren, Dr. William Kortbein (Marisa) and Ronette Johnson (Chris); his son Danny Acker (Andrea); his grandchildren, Sydney Ferrill (Micah), Hayden Blankenship (Jakob) and Robby Acker (Hannah); his son Harmon Acker (Shannon); his grandchildren, Tori Myrick (Matthew), Hardy Acker (Sarah Matthewson) and Lilliana Acker; his child Jade Acker (Shelah); his grandchildren, Lino, Angelo, Meron, Anna-Grace and Kaelah-Joy Acker; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Atarah, Bithiah and Amber; and his siblings, Jane Harrell and Dr. Joe Acker (Linda).
