It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Kirby of Alabaster, Alabama, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Lesley and Mae Lee Lesley; her great grandchild Rylee Blackmon; and her siblings, Juanita Odem, Bernice Blythe, Frank Lesley, Buck Lesley, Hoyt Lesley and Richard Lesley.
She is survived by: her children, Edith Busby (Bill) of Jemison, Richard Hafer (Sandy) of Jemison and Renee Hafer of Jemison; her grandchildren, Ben Hafer (Allison) and Heather Blackmon (Phillip); her great grandchildren, Jase Blackmon, Easton Hafer, Aubrey Hafer, Connor Hafer, Zaydie Hafer and Kimber Hafer; and her brothers, Houston Lesley of Jemison and George Lesley of Robinwood. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family strongly encourages attendees to use facial coverings and practice social distancing.
