He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Grace Murrell; and his siblings, Malcom Maurice Murrell, Grady Donald Murrell, Henry Rodney Murrell, Rilla Murrell Wood, Linda Murrell Vawter and Judy Murrell Cobbs.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Keith Murrell (Clair) and Mary Ann Logan (Rex); and his grandchildren, Ashlyn Murrell, Alan Reynolds and Jennifer Robertson. He is also survived by five great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
