He was predeceased by: his sister Carolyn "YaYa" Ussery; and his former wife Cathy Gail Ray. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Ray; his children, Richard Ray (Monica) and Leslie Hahn; his grandchildren, Courtney Hahn, Catherine Ray and Corey Ray; and his siblings, Michael Ray (Sheila), Pat Ray (Teresa), Charles Ray and Cathy Ray. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
