He was predeceased by: his father D. W. Dowdey (Clara Renae Dowdey). He is survived by: his son Zach Dowdey (Heather); his brother Tommy Dowdey (Linda); his mother Dovie Daniel Dowdey; his grandchildren, Carson Dowdey, Jaycee Dowdey and Dylan Worsham; and his nephew Steven Dowdey.
