She was predeceased by : her parents, Leon Oliver and Ruby Oliver; her husband Paul Slaten; and her brother Sonny Oliver. She is survived by : her daughter Marsha Hampton; her sisters, Ida Strickland (Bud) and Patsy McCoy; her granddaughter Crystal Trussell (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Carter Williams, Seth Trussell (Sidney) and Jaylee Silas (Jay).
