She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth L. Chafin; her parents, Alexander Jesse Bobo and Sallie Vicie Bobo (Woodham); and her siblings, Demile Tidwell, Vivian Martin, Betty Brooks, Jeanette Goddard, Lavoid Bobo, Buren Bobo and Cois Bobo.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Chafin Crim (Dennis) of Columbus and Kenneth Jr. (Ken) of Mobile; her siblings, Margaret Henson of Atlanta and Jimmy Bobo of Albertville; and also Chafin, Jr. (Kiley) of Mobile. She is also survived by Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
