He was predeceased by: his father John M. Strange. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Strange; his mother Janet Adams; his children, Braxton Strange and MaKenna Strange; and his siblings, Myra Burgess, Marlin Strange, Carl Strange, Lee Strange and Kara Strange.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested making a donation in honor of Denny to Shepherd's Cove Hospice.
