He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gipson and Ila Bell Gipson; his brother Bobby Gipson; and his grandchildren, Renata Gipson and Vanessa Hudson.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Gipson (Sam Jenkins), Priscilla Hudson (Shannon), Robert McKee (Cathy), David Gipson (Jennifer) and Terry Gipson (Toni); his siblings, Linda Fowler, Paula McClellan and Jerry Gipson; his grandchildren, Amber McKee, Hannah McKee, Chad Boles, Aaron Edwards, Kristona Gipson, Vincent Gipson, Austin Zavala, Ila Arellano, Cedric Jenkins, Chelsee Hudson and Charles HUdson Jr. Aubree Gipson; and his great grandchildren, Charles Hudson, Karsyn Casimiro, Aiden Hudson and Jimmy McCormick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
