She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Hix and Delores Hix; and her daughter Mary Spurlin. She is survived by: her sons, Byron Spurlin (Sherry), Mike Spurlin (Barbara) and Tony Spurlin; her siblings, Joyce Corbin, Barbara Corbin (Raymond), Judy Johnson (Travis), Joan Kinney (Donnie) and Johnny Hix (Jennie); and her grandchildren, Matt Spurlin, Josh Spurlin, Mark Spurlin, Jennifer Francisco and Adam Spurlin. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Shepherds Cove Hospice of Marshall County.
