She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee H. Nash and Vera Low Nash; her husband Harold Otis Chitwood; and her son G. Wesley Chitwood. She is survived by: her sons, H. Wayde Chitwood (Anna) of Muscle Shoals, J. Weldon Chitwood (Sadhana) of Tennessee and Neké Chitwood of Boaz; her grandson Michael Wayde Chitwood; her stepgrandson Major Bruce J. Hicks, Jr. (Serena); and her stepgreat-grandson Bruce Johns Hicks III.
